BOWERY BOWL by The Stitchery Collective

In October 2016 The Stitchery Collective transformed the iconic East Brisbane Bowls Club into a glitter neon dreamscape for a Leigh Bowery costume extravaganza. Bowery Bowl was the first in a series of fashion parties celebrating inclusivity, dressing up and the brilliance of the Brisbane cultural community. Prizes for best dressed were awarded to Most Glamourous, Best Club Kid Look and Best Bowery.

In September 2018 documentation of Bowery Bowl was presented alongside Bowery Haus as part of the Critical Costume 2018 Conference hosted by the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
