Bianca Bulley

I am a costume maker, designer and cutter for live performance and movies. After working for a few Australian independent fashion designers after I graduated from the QUT fashion course I moved to the UK and worked over there for a few years. Since returning to Australia I have been working full time in costume for major companies such as Queensland Theatre, Opera Queensland and Warner Brothers Studios. I joined The Stitchery Collective in 2012 at the suggestion of my sister, as we have always enjoyed creating and collaborating together. I have a fascination with fashion and wearing stories and history, and how that can be evident in clothing and textiles and design processes. My favourite Stitchery projects are our design and collaborative creations as I enjoy playing with what fashion is, can be, and the ideas that come out of experimenting together.
